J Yes Farms is a family-owned business that has been operating for over 20 years. The guiding spirit behind the farm was Joy Chemmachel, a successful businessman in Chicago who had a passion for agriculture and farming. Unfortunately, Joy passed away five years ago, but his legacy lives on through J Yes Farms.
Joy Chemmachel, the founder of J Yes Farms, was a successful businessman in Chicago, and an artist, who always had a deep connection to his agricultural roots. He fell eighth in the line of siblings in an agricultural family from Kuttanad and grew up with a love for farming. In 2004, Joy decided to pursue his passion and started J Yes Agriculture Farm. The farm is located in Kuttanad, Kerala, and covers over 28 acres of land.
One of Joy's visions for the farm was to promote farm tourism. This has been achieved through various activities and events that are held on the farm throughout the year. J Yes Farms believes in educating visitors about sustainable farming practices and showcasing how food is grown from seed to plate. The farm also partners with local schools to offer educational programs for students to learn about agriculture and healthy eating habits. With such a strong commitment to promoting agri-tourism, it's no wonder that J Yes Farms has become a popular destination for families looking for a fun day out or couples seeking a romantic getaway in nature.
We are happy to realize the awaited dream of our guiding spirit, Mr.JoyChemmachel. J Yes Farms is not just any ordinary farm. It has a diverse range of activities and attractions that make it stand out from other farms in the area.
Besides other attractions, J Yes Farms also boasts an agricultural museum that showcases antique tools and equipment used by farmers throughout history. Visitors can explore these exhibits at their leisure while learning about the evolution of agriculture over time.
If you're looking for some relaxation or adventure on your visit to J Yes Farms, you won't be disappointed either! The property offers boating rides along its scenic waterways, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. And when hunger strikes after all this activity, head over to the on-site restaurant serving delicious meals made with fresh produce straight from the fields.

With its traditional farming methods, fish farm, bird farm, nursery for medicinal plants and agricultural plants, agricultural museum, boating rides, and restaurant serving fresh produce from the fields; J Yes Farms has something for everyone.
