Unfortunately, Joy passed away five years ago, but his legacy lives on through J Yes Farms.

Joy Chemmachel, the founder of J Yes Farms, was a successful businessman in Chicago, and an artist, who always had a deep connection to his agricultural roots. He fell eighth in the line of siblings in an agricultural family from Kuttanad and grew up with a love for farming. In 2004, Joy decided to pursue his passion and started J Yes Agriculture Farm. The farm is located in Kuttanad, Kerala, and covers over 28 acres of land.

One of Joy's visions for the farm was to promote farm tourism. This has been achieved through various activities and events that are held on the farm throughout the year.
